The idea for Personal Savers was born in 1995 by Derek Downing and Chad Smith, two national and world champion professional inline speed skaters.
After hearing about a young girl getting murdered running on a local trail, they decided to put their innovative ideas into action. Since the conception of Personal Savers, they've been dedicated to being an industry leader in personal safety gear for the active person and to save lives around the country.
